Business identity

These terms apply to purchases from The Old Alaska, based in regional Victoria, Australia. Contact us at admin@theoldalaska.com.au.

Products

We sell handmade, made to order steel accessories. Colours and options selected at purchase form part of your order. Product pages describe fitment. You are responsible for confirming the product suits your vehicle before you buy.

Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Shipping within Australia is free unless a product page says otherwise. Promo codes are applied only as described at checkout.

Orders

An order is accepted when payment succeeds, or when we confirm the order in writing. Your order number (OA format) is your reference for all communication.

Lead times

Typical build time is 7 to 10 days. Courier delivery after dispatch is usually 3 to 10 days. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates.

Fitment

You confirm vehicle fitment before ordering. For the Troopy Roof Console, note that some 2024 and 2025 models with a factory dome light are incompatible. Radar modules above the mirror do not prevent fitment.

Custom and bulk work

Custom layouts and bulk orders may have separate quotes, pricing, and lead times.

Cancellations and changes

Once production has started on a made to order item, changes and cancellations may not be possible. Contact us as soon as you can if you need to change an order.

Returns and refunds

Made to order and custom painted goods are generally not returnable for change of mind. If goods are defective, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply. Contact us with your order number and photos if something is wrong.

Shipping

We ship within Australia only for now. Risk in the goods passes on delivery to the address you provide. Failed delivery or redelivery may incur extra courier fees if the address was incomplete or incorrect.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. If Afterpay or wallet methods appear at checkout, their own terms also apply.

Liability

Installation is DIY. Follow the guidance on the product page. You install at your own risk. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect install, or for use outside the stated fitment.
